Excellent value for money in a clean pleasingly decorated room with windows that opened.

bre abreakkfast brillent my mobility was not very good so the three mornings i was there brarakfast was brought to my table with a smile and what more can i get you lovely to see in in young people thank you

Excellent room, allowed us to check in early plus let us leave out bags in the hotel for the whole day when we were due to leave. Breakfast selection was superb.

The location were able to get a bus to York outside the property Staff were very friendly and helpful

The hotel was ideal for us and convenient for town . But far enough away from the tourists traps I think the hotel is great for the older generation.

Super location, spacious room and gorgeous bath in corner! Loved the historic ambience. Clean, good facilities in room (tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate) nice toiletries, fridge. Comfortable bed, room temperature just right and lovely high ceilings. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for the same time next year (Black Friday) Staff were all friendly and one staff member gave great recommendations (we took despite having visited many times before as you never know it all!) We therefore had lunch on the recommended Old York Tea Room which was also fabulous! Thank you ❤️

Location. Welcoming staff, breakfast choices, decor, ability to leave luggage and price. The Santa Breakfast was a lovely tweak and delicious!

I loved every bit of this place! The staff was wonderful, the room was comfy, the location inside the walled old town York was ideal, and relaxing in the indoor and outdoor (heated) sections of the on-site pub was the cherry on the cake each evening after a long day of activities. Did I mention the breakfast? GET THE BREAKFAST.

The apartment was excellently equipped with tea and coffee, and toiletries in the bathroom. These details make a big difference, so thank you. The whole apartment looks to have been very recently renovated and was modern and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The apartment was quiet and perfect for me to work from for the week, with good wifii. All attractions were within walking distance. The washer/ dryer was a bonus. I would definitely return, hopefully next time with my family.

This place was super comfortable and had a large , which I appreciated. There is a hot yoga studio on-site, but you do have to pay for it. It had a jacuzzi on site, which, unfortunately, I didn't have time to go use. The room was large.The bed was super comfortable. Very clean and stuff was helpful. Close to city center and transportation was easy. Felt very safe.
