Great stay! The house is very cozy and extremely clean. Good common areas, warm and cozy room. Quiet location. This was was a beautiful cozy place to come back to in the end of the day, with comfy sofas to zip a warm tea and photo albums to dive into.

Great location. We chose it as it was fairly central to places we wished to visit along the south coast and it looked like it would be a dark area during the night for viewing the aurora. Rooms were part of individual lodges with the restaurant/reception/breakfast being in a central lodge. Rooms were spacious and clean with coffee machines. Breakfast and restaurant served very nice food. Staff were exceptionally nice and chef was helpful making sure we were safe regarding allergies. Would he happy to visit again next time we are in Iceland.

This property was great for what I was looking for, I’m a solo traveler who came to Iceland chasing the Northern Lights and this location was perfect! It sits on a hill overlooking the valley which gave great perspective of the sky, hella is about 15 minutes away which is a nice little town that carries groceries, gas, and liquor store. The location is also central to many of the great tourist attractions to the eastern/ central of the island
