Great beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Our room was directly on the canal with a wonderful outdoor seating and the restaurant was elegant and luxurious,especially since we are vegetarians,the chef prepared a special dinner for us and it was very delicious. The 1-bedroom apartment has two queen beds, full kitchen, can comfortably sleep four. Parking is free in the cafe lot. The location is great, right on the canal, in the middle of the houses. You should stay a night in Giethoorn because of the morning and evening peace and quiet after day trippers are gone. The canal turns into mirror and you get beautiful pics w perfect reflections. This is not possible during the day w tourist boats.
