Upon arrival, we were checked in by Fiona who was very welcoming, efficient and kindly changed our room to one which was more easily accessible to my husband who had hurt his back falling on the ice. She couldn't have been more helpful. All the staff were smiling. We had lunch in the restaurant which was delicious. Very large comfortable room.

Very close to the train station, and for us, the Christmas Market at the time. We wanted a room with a kitchenette, which came in handy, and there is free laundry on site which was a huge plus for our longer term traveling needs. We even had some free social hours in the evening with beer and snacks, just overall very nice.

The 4-star Clayton Hotel Birmingham is just a 5-minute walk from the Bullring Shopping Center. It serves modern food in its stylish restaurant.
