United StatesThis was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

They also have discounts for the thermal baths and can book it for you. They provide a list of local events. The restaurant is open quite long but for dinner the kitchen closes prior to thermal-baths closure so something to keep in mind.

GermanyThe owners were super-welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable after we arrived from a long trip by car. The rooms and bathroom are super clean and are designed with a lot of attention for detail. Dipping into the open-air swimming pool was great to start the day. The breakfast was marvellous. Great value for money, but above all a great stay with great hosts!

We were on a 3 week bike tour through Europe (EuroVelo 15) and this was a convenient mid stop between Stein am Rhein and Basel. Laundry room was free to use, washers and dryers, they blanked out all the confusing modes on the machines which was super helpful for us as well! Lots of food options around. Rooms had an outdoor patio, and plenty of space inside for storing our bikes. Our room had a bidet and large shower.
