Even better than the pictures! Perfect location. Fantastic and helpful staff. I wish I had stayed much longer than two nights. I can't overhype this hotel!

Long An is an ideal place to visit the area. My room was spacious and clean, I had a little balcony from where I could see the beautiful green rice terraced . The owner and her mum prepared delicious food for me and even arranged my transport to reach Yangshuo when I left. Highly recommended

Amazing location. We had the hotel to ourselves as it was low season. The owner was really helpful and accommodating.

The location is remote, but the view is breathtaking. The staff speak English and can help you book a taxi and arrange a trip to Ping'An. The breakfast was fabulous - an assortment of small dishes, including the famous Guilin rice noodles. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but you can order dinner at the guesthouse (for an additional, but reasonable price). I was happy with both of the meals I had, and the ingredients seemed very fresh.

I was traveling with my brother and we loved this hotel. For starters, the host was incredibly kind. She picked us up from the parking lot below the village, which saved us a lot of walking uphill. She also gave us a complimentary room upgrade and breakfast for all three days that we were there. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony that faces the rice terraces, affording us a terrific view of the surroundings. The location was really convenient. From the hotel we could take a short hike (1-2 hours) to the two viewpoints in Ping'an village. We enjoyed the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant, which had an extensive menu and was no less delicious than food served elsewhere plus with reasonable prices.

This is one of the finest properties we have stayed in. Our room overlooked the village and the rice paddies, and was exquisitely maintained. The staff were excellent, including Vito, and helped arrange transport and gave us directions for hiking. We had a wonderful time eating dinner around the fire, which was very appreciated after being outdoors all day.

Incredible place, hidden in a historic village up in the mountains with stunning views of the rice terraces. Modern facilities, and very friendly, helpful staff.

Hosts were great! They helped us out a lot. Went hiking with us helped us catch a bus back to the nearest town. Very friendly. Couldnt ask for more.

It is true retreat. Very quite location and incredibly beautiful hotel, from the room terrace overlooking the rice field. The hotel has a personality, good room and a very heated pool that you can relaxing after a long day. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Totally recommended.

If you want to visit the Longji area, this location can’t be beat! Literally steps away from the Jinkeng terraces. We came for the magnificent scenery, the hikes. Although it rained during the entire time, it didn’t dampen our experience one bit. We loved every moment. We were lucky to be greeted by the owner who personally showed us the footpath to the Golden Buddha Summit. (There we took the best photos of our trip.) But not only that, his warm & gracious hospitality set the tone for his entire staff, provided excellent service throughout our entire stay. The property is all that the pictures only hinted at—& more: spacious & modern, like brand new, super-clean & comfortable. A totally relaxing vibe. Our room had all the latest amenities (worth mentioning: an intelligent toilet). We enjoyed sitting in front of our huge window affording a spectacular panoramic view of the mountains, sipping the provided delicious black tea & mandarin oranges. And did I mention the food? We had breakfast, lunch & dinner during our one-night stay; each meal expertly prepared, a delight & surprise--beyond our expectations for quality & taste! Overall incomparable value. The owner is a family-run hotel. The cooking is authentic and delicious. It is very comfortable to stay in. The scenery is really great. The arranged car can be delivered directly to the door of the hotel! The experience is very good
