Our stay at AlpinaRos was lovely, such an amazing view from outside the room and breakfast area. The staff were incredible. We didn't realise the room didn't have a fridge but we were able to keep our small cold goods at the front desk fridge. The breakfast was superb, best breakfast we had during our one month holiday in Europe. Parking was great for our rental car, and short walk to the main area of town. The view was just sublime. Room was comfy, slight dated but totally fine. Really welcoming staff and we appreciate the high level of kindness and support.

Anton was so friendly, accommodating, and informative- he made our visit to the Krampus festival just perfect! It’s a beautiful property with spectacular views and fresh mountain air. It’s a bit of a walk with a hill to town, but perfectly comfortable for us- a bit older, a bit in shape. The room was sweet and the bed comfortable. It had a private deck and towel heater, thoughtful touches with a cosmetic bag holding bathroom necessities. Breakfast was wonderful! Some of the best bread I’ve eaten in Europe- and that’s saying something! Though a smaller guesthouse, Anton includes more options for meat, cheese, etc. than many bigger places we’ve stayed at including some wonderful caponata-type mix of roasted veggies with cheese (I loved that) and polenta pudding (new for me, and I intend to make it at home)! My husband noted that the juices were varied and flavorful- these are often watered down. We will definitely come back here if we are in the area again!

We travel a lot and I will tell you that this has been the best accommodation we have stayed in. Gabriele is a wonderful host. The apartment is adorably decorated and could be on the cover of a home and gardens magazine. It is located in the historic part of Berchtesgaden and there are many restaurants and the historic town center within a two minute walk. You must eat in Gabriele's restaurant below the apartment...it is a Michelin and Gusto awarded vegan restaurant...absolutely fabulous. You must take the boat trip and see Konigsee and drive the Rossfeld Panoramastrasse. Obersalzburg is nice and Salzburg, Austria is a must see and only 30-minutes away. There are many beautiful hikes in the area. We had a very nice stay over New Years...watching the fireworks from the balcony was superb!

Great location..very clean and comfortable. Great food served at breakfast and in the restaurant for dinner. Our room had a great balcony and view. In general all the staff were very friendly and attentive most of the time. Reception provided us with a fan for our room which was great as it was really needed.

Hotel was fine. We had a large 2-bedroom apartment style room. Seemed a little old but had everything we needed. No fridge and TV only gets about 10 channels. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Also, location was good being just five minute walk from a bunch of restaurants and shops and close to the road that takes you to Eagle’s nest or the salt mines.

Amazing view, really friendly and helpful staff, lot of space to sit outside (private terrace, shared terrace, sunbeds...). Breakfast coffee machines available around the clock (can we please set this as a standard i all hotels!? :-) ), easy parking, huge family room with everything needed.

The apartment had two separate bedrooms, a nice kitchen and bathroom. The location gave us easy access to a grocery store and the pedestrian zone with lots of shops and restaurants!

This hotel has the feel of an old Bavarian hotel with wood panelling and hunting trophies on the wall and is at the end of the main streetof Berchesgaden The breakfast is very good and plentiful. Our room was big and comfortable with a balcony with views over the mountains and town. We used the indoor swimming pool but not the sauna. There is a bar which is open at night. The hotel offers guests a free bus pass which is very worthwhile and it is in easy bus travel of the major tourist spots. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Stayed in Superior Family room. Very spacious, nice and clean room! Bathroom is huge. Comfortable beds! Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from. Perfect for our one-day-visit to Berchtesgaden.

This is a modern hotel, with elevators and a reception desk that's stocked with snacks. The attendant provided us with bus passes which allowed us to ride for free to/from the town (taxi is about 10 Euro). Our room had a decent-sized balcony and plenty of room to stretch out. The place was also quite clean.

The hotel has ample amenities like sauna, steam and jacuzzi. It also has a spa and the reception area is exceptional. The view from the hotel is amazing. Its like a modern,well furnished hotel amidst a fairytale European city. The Rooms are amazing with a big mirror and a spacious balcony. The best thing is they provide you a umbrella and a bag pack. Particularly Mr.Franz/Frans was such a lovely dude, he is energetic and also very talented. Definitely will come back here!
