The grounds were fabulous and the scenery breathtaking. Our room which we originally booked for 4 nights the TV wasn't working so we were moved to another room for our stay. It was actually a bigger room with the most beautiful high ceilings. We didn't ask to move room they did this automatically for us. The staff were amazing and a shout out to the chef who cooked the most delicious meals in the restaurant.

The location of the hotel is great, an amazing view on the river and very peaceful and quiet.
We had the room, the lose box. Which is set-up as horse stable boxes. The idea is grandiose and really well executed. It is fun, spacious and comfortable.

The location of this hotel is outstanding with beautiful grounds and so much history. We paid for a luxury room and were not disappointed the room size was great and the bathroom had an amazing spa jet bath. We were welcomed by the wonderful staff who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. If you're looking for tranquillity and a break from the hectic day to day grind, this is the place.

The property was beautiful, set within beautiful grounds , it was very very clean. And our bed was very comfortable , the room was lovely with the usual tea/ coffee and also a bottle of water which was very appreciated,

Very friendly staff who were really helpful.
They made a huge fuss about our very timid dog!
The room was lovely, spacious and pet-friendly.
The option to have our breakfast brought to the room was fabulous.
Lovely evening meal and we were able to bring the dog with us, not in the main dining room understandably but nevertheless, the bar area on the mezzanine was a lovely place to eat.
We were able to have a lovely walk along the river and a look around the beautiful grounds.

Kept clean and rustic. Had a lovely stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much for them. Loved the shower room and layout of the room as well. Great breakfast and dinner. The garlic mushrooms were just insanely great we loved them.

Location is stunning. We stayed for four nights and booked 2 of the deluxe rooms for our party of four, one of the rooms was more superior to the other but both were comfortable and spacious, both had great views looking over the grounds of the estate. Continental breakfast was very good and accommodated changes to the hot breakfast options. We dined at the restaurant on one of our evenings and couldn't fault the food, steaks were excellent. All staff very friendly.
