The hotel was beyond expectations the food excellent and the location was mind blowing. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

We got played and had to find a place to stay quick. I was pissed off and the host was real good at the time. He made me feel welcome and made some accommodations for me

If you are looking for an experience for days ago with a few modern conveniences you couldn’t find better. I so loved experiencing what my great grandparents would have. Out the back you have views of the great blankets and the sleeping giant out in the sea. Out front you have views of Portmagee and the sea as well as the Skelligs. You simply can’t go wrong with this listing and the experience. ❤️

It is extremely centrally located. Virtually across the street from Skellig Centre. Francis is a very efficient, warm host. Rooms on the ground floor, all well done. Good restaurants nearby. We felt both relaxed and cared for

Wonderful location on the grounds of a country house with beautiful surroundings and views. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and fully equipped.

The house was easy to find and get into, with a very large parking area. The quiet neighborhood made sleeping easy. The drive to Portmagee was less than 15 minutes, so staying here made it easy to get to our boat tour. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, with a large dinner table. The bathroom is very large, and has a nice style to it. The shower had plenty of hot water for two. We appreciated the washer! There was heating, which we didn't find everywhere at this time of year. It's very close to the ferry, which made for fast (if expensive) access to a supermarket. This is definitely a good choice as a base for exploring the area.

We felt as if we’d walked into a dream. The location, views of the Atlantic, the peacefulness. Our hostess Enda was exceptional she made us feel welcome and at home.
