Mr.Jayottam pal is known for his stories about the Shantiniketan's history, making guests feel like they are visiting a friend's home rather than a resort. The Staff: The entire team is described as "well-behaved," "supportive," and "attentive," ensuring every need—from guided walks to farming demonstrations—is met with a smile.Special Thanks to Mr. Subrata Sharma who took care of us just like our parents do, from bringing medicines to bring hot mineral water for my child. Personal Touch: The family often takes guests on guided tours through grasslands or to meet local artisans, providing a deep, immersive cultural experience.

Toddler friendly, safe, hygienic . Baby pool was great, my kid enjoyed a lot. No food or alcohol near pool was served, no loud music so we felt safe having a baby with us.

The food was outstanding, and breakfast each morning was genuinely the highlight of the day—fresh, varied, and delicious, setting the perfect tone for exploring Santiniketan. What truly makes The Anthill special, though, is the people. The staff were amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. A special shout-out to Bimal, Somnath, Utpal, Rupnath, and to Head Chef Prosenjit and his wonderful kitchen crew for their exceptional hospitality and care. The hostel is very unclean, high rated costing, bad w.c. unclean bed and bed sheet. I paid rs. 1000.00 per night for a room with no facilities . The bed was not equipped with, even a matress. Kindly don't mis lead boarders in future, who like to book room through you.

Beautiful wooded and resort like setting. Nicely sets the mood for a visit to Shantiniketan. Each room is set up like an independent thatched hut with a veranda in front. There were only half a dozen units which enhanced the feeling of privacy. The staff were very friendly, especially the owner who was extremely helpful.

very nice property. Prime location. Sonajhuri haat, visva bharati everything is nearby. The food was delicious. The host behaviour was very polite. The room was clean and properly maintained. They recently renovated so everything felt brand new. Best place to stay when visiting for poush mela.
