Newly renovated and extra spacious rooms (relatively rare in Iceland), sparkling clean washrooms & well maintained linen in room, curated daily supplies, coffee machine! Ample space right below the hotel for parking which was free for guests.

Very clean, great location, everything we needed

Grund was a warm and cozy respite from cold and extremely windy weather. The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

This was a great little cozy basement apartment, easy to access, great communication with the host. Loved all the thoughtful touches, including coffee and tea and some cooking essentials in the cabinet for guests to use. Had everything I needed, and was a great home base to explore the Snaefellesnes area.

An absolutely charming boutique villa! This cozy place had everything we needed for a perfect stay - warm, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped. Beautiful scenery right outside the window, and the landlord was wonderfully kind. It felt like a home away from home.

I liked that it was one of the cheapest stays in Iceland. It was very accessible to places I wanted to cover in the Snaefellness peninsula. It was just 25mins from Kirkufell to hike and also just 30mins to the Snæfellsjökull national park too. The staff were very friendly, they've created a very communal atmosphere, they encouraged me to sing in the Karaoke nights.

Excellent location. Ample parking. Great views. Quick communication from the host. The rooms were gorgeous! Looks as if everything was updated recently. Shower is amazing and has good hot water!

Fantastic views, clean, everything was great!

Warm, clean, and comfortable. Great breakfast included, buffet-style so you can eat as much as you'd like. Free parking. A few minutes walk from a gas station that has a little store so you can buy some snacks or essentials. Wifi worked well. Hair dryer in the bathroom. Quiet so I rested well. I saw the northern lights from my bedroom window!!
