The view and the overall feeling of the place is lovely and romantic. We enjoyed the beautiful roses outside and the landscape. The room was very spacious Good breakfast, friendly and helpful host. Great value for money.

Nicest by far than any other I’ve stayed in on my trip. Spacious bed room and bathroom. A little outside porch with table and chairs and view of the roof tops. The design was clean and minimalist modern but also felt like a very old building. I would love my bedroom at home to be so comfortable and cleanly designed and spotless. A true gem.

Beautiful building, spacious room, beautiful balcony and free parking. Complementary amenities like coffee, tea, packaged bread/croissant. Nice views.

Our stay at La Volpe La Stella was incredible. Every morning we woke up to birds singing and fresh air on the spacious deck overlooking the beautiful countryside views. From the moment we arrived, Filomena welcomed us with warmth and a smile. She made us feel like family, offering us coffee and taking the time to explain the area and share local recommendations. Our apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and details like lights and outlets on both sides of the bed made the room especially convenient. The small kitchen was basic but well-equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and sink — everything needed to prepare a simple meal if desired. One of the many highlights of our stay was breakfast. Each morning we enjoyed fresh eggs along with a wide variety of homemade and freshly prepared items. Coffee was always available throughout the day whenever we wanted it. During breakfast, we also had the opportunity to try Filomena’s olive oil, which was absolutely delicious and made the experience feel even more authentic and personal. An additional note: for those that have a car there is plenty of safe parking and the property is easy to access if you have disabilities or knee problems. We hope to return again!

Automated blinds. Good ventilation. Great value. Good location atop historic walkable town in Basilicata countryside. Will return.
