IsraelResidenze Serventi Longhi is a gem in Rome. We arrived at around 11am after disembark from our cruise boat on a very hot summer day. Matteo met us at the hotel with a big smile and generously let us check in early in a beautiful room #10 already prepared. He told us how everything worked in the hotel and even gave us the door keys so we can leave our four suitcases after checking out. Matteo also sent a list of attraction and restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp. There were cold bottled water in the fridge, and coffee, tea, cookies, and a bottle of wine on the table. So the check-in was really great.
Our room was large even by American standards and had a beautiful view of Porta San Giovanni (16th century), a gate in the Aurelian Wall (3rd century) with the grand Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano (oldest basilica in the western world) high over the wall. The room had a large bathroom and the best shower. The air conditioning worked very well in the heatwave. The pretty marble and wood interior building was secure with a couple layers of locked doors.
The location of the Residenze is great. Close to all the major sites and public transports. San Giovani metro station was just under our widow, and another station two minutes walk away with an elevator entrance. We came with a taxi but left for the airport using the metro and train, all went pretty smoothly. Google will give you the exact instructions. The area is safe with a good mixture of locals and tourists. It has many good restaurants within a few minutes walking. It is a 15mins walk to the Colosseum (will pass the tallest Egyptian obelisk in Rome, carved during the 15th century BC for Pharaohs Thutmose III and Thutmose IV). We walked to the Colosseum after 8PM and walked to sites and plazas till midnight and took the bus back, and it was easy and safe.
Definitely will stay again when we are in Rome.

AustraliaIt was actually a transit for a (full) day in Rome. Instead of booking a hotel near FCO which was more expensive than this room rate, and not forget about the expensive fare for airport pick up+ drop off. I was extremely happy and satisfied with my last night staying in Rome. Such a beautiful fine hotel, the room is super clean, there is a garden in the property where I could do my exercise in the morning then head to hotel breakfast, warm and helpful hotel staff. The location looks far from FCO but it is actually very convenient to get there. If you travel light, just take the Leonardo Express direct train from FCO (€15) to Roma termini, hop on Bus 82 right in front of the termini, and a short walking distance you will reach the hotel. If you travel with big luggage bags, I chose to ride the taxi/uber from the hotel to Roma termini to the airport the next day. The taxi ride cost me €15.50. As for last night in Rome, I was happy l could enjoy a nice Cacciò e Peppe and delicious pizza at Mamma Pizza by just walking distance before leaving Italia.

This is a great apartment. Spacious, quiet, bright, clean. Has a new kitchen and bathroom. It is set up as a two bedroom, so the layout slightly differs from photos, there is now some balcony furniture but now lacks a couch. There is plenty of hanging space for clothes. The balcony is a really nice at night.

The property is a little paradise in Rome. Our room was very nice, spacious, and clean, with all the amenities you need. The outdoor space was amazing. Large terrace, lovely gardens, and a beautiful pool. Everything was so peaceful. Roberta and Marco were great hosts, along with their staff. Very friendly and helpful for making it an unforgettable experience. It was a pleasure, and I hope to stay there again.

It is a nice and spacious apartment with 3 double bedrooms, ideal for a family. The balcony at the front and back adds a nice advantage. Across the street you have the bus and tram that takes you straight to the city centre

The hosts who greeted us were very nice and accommodating, they let us leave our luggage in the morning before the official check in. The flat is nice, spacious, clean, with a balcony in a great location near Trastevere train station. Also a great view from the balcony!
The only small negative is that it gets very hot in the bedroom and in July, opening the windows doesn't help. There is a little fan but it doesn't cool down the air so it's still pretty difficult to sleep if you're not accustomed to the heat

Lovely location, supermarket stays open until midnight, although alcohol must be purchased before 8pm. Lovely terrace off main bedroom. Spacious. Excellent communications with Sara on what’s app both before and during our stay. Train station to civitavecchia very close by, go up the street on the right, just before the bridge. You will see the station and the steps and walkway take you out on the platform 😄

Hotel located in the center, walking distance to train station, major sights, we got room upgraded to suite. We have enough space to hang on our cloths, put luggage. Our room is located on the 10th floor, has terrace, in the evening, when all the lights on, standing on the terrace, you could see city of Rome, very beautiful. Roof top bar also has good view. Breakfast is good, many choice, staff are old style but nice.

A really beautiful stay, the host family were lovely. The breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious with a well-designed bathroom. Amazing view from the balcony both in our private rooms and from the communal terrace where we were served coffee and a great selection of pastries, fruits, non-alcoholic beverages and coffees. Overall would come back!

The welcome we received from Flo was exceptional. He welcomed us to Rome with humor and lots of local knowledge. Omar and Flo were able to arrange an early checkin to our room which was greatly appreciated after our travels. The room was lovely and spacious with great Aircon. The terrace was a lovely space and the use of WhatsApp to request drinks and assistance was an asset. I recommend Sophie Terrace 100%. We will be back!

The location was as expected, our room was spacious, very clean, well-lit, comfortable and had a little balcony. The front desk was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and gave us a great dinner recommendation which we loved. We were given a bottle of prosecco upon arrival which was a great touch. The rooftop terrace offered great views and the service was friendly.

The location was great. The breakfast views and breakfast was the highlights. My room was very comfortable, I was upgraded to a junior suite which meant it was more spacious with a little couch and living space separated from the bedroom space. The room decor was muted which made it feel serene and calm compared to the buzzy streets outside.

The rooms were spacious there was four girls sharing they gave us the family room two bedrooms with two bathrooms was the perfect set up. We all had our own space and balconys. The hotel is in a gated area so safe the bus stopped right outside in the street the 64 took us everywhere for 2.50 for 100mins the Vatican was a 10min walk. There is a shop right across the road to get supplies. There is a beautiful restaurant right down the road worth trying
