Casa Martini is a small property with three rooms for guests. Just 600 metres from St. Peter's square in the center of Rome, it is located in a nice and green street. We personally take care of our guests and we try to let them have the best possible experience in Rome. We have recently (September 2016) opened a rooftop area, where our guests can relax during the day or in the evening, have their breakfast, enjoy an aperitif or simply sit and read a book.
I'm Gianluca, the owner, and together with Agostino (my brother in law) and Consolata, my wife, I personally take care of my small property. I studied Cultural Anthropology in Rome and Amsterdam, and immediatly after my degree I started to have guests at my place as a second job, but then I decided to do this as full time activity - I could definitely do my "field work" as anthropologist comfortably at home. I have two daughters, Roberta and Maria Beatrice: they definitely take care of all my spare time.
Our area (Prati Vaticano) is extremely strategic, comfortable, quiet and safe. I would definitely say that this is the best area to live in Rome, and also as a tourist it offers the best combination between location and quietness. We are just 50 metres away from the underground line A and the Vatican in just a few hundred metres from our building door. Every site of interest of the center of Rome is within walking distance.
