Rooms in Beppu

It was so clean! All of the amenities were so great! The 8 different private onsens are amazing, but a bit too small for more than 3 people. The public bath is really clean, the water is pristine.

I stayed at AMANEK Beppu YULA‑RE for 4 nights during my time in Beppu, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The biggest strength of this hotel is its strategic location. It is close to Beppu Station (train station) and the bus terminal, making it very easy to travel to various attractions. From here, I could conveniently visit Yufuin, Beppu Ropeway, Oita, Kyushu Wildlife Park, Takasakiyama Park, and many other destinations. The hotel is also surrounded by food options, so finding meals was never a problem. A Lawson convenience store is located very close to the hotel, making it easy to buy water or snacks at any time. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and featured tatami flooring, which added comfort and a pleasant Japanese atmosphere. Another nice touch was the free welcome drink, available all day until around 10 PM, which was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The most memorable part of my stay was the hotel’s complimentary bath (onsen) facilities for guests. I used the onsen almost every night on the 14th floor, where I could enjoy a beautiful view of Beppu city while soaking in hot water. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. The hotel also has a rooftop swimming pool, although I did not get the chance to use it during my stay.

Friendly staff who speaks fluent English. Car parking at 500 yen per night behind the hotel. Free beverages at the lounge. Spacious room with sea view. Many restaurants within 10 mins walk. Discount shop Donki just 2 mins away. Very clean room and have an onsen on the too floor with very hot water. There is a kitchenette and washing machine in the room. Worth to stay in this service apartment hotel again.

Buffet had a loads of variety of food including international and Kyushu local dishes. Game area and kids space helped a lot to stay with small kids. Staffs were nice.

The rooftop pool!!!!!!! 🤩 Amazing 360 view over the city, sea and mountains. The spa a floor below is also great. Makes the visit worth it by itself.

The breakfast has a wide array of choices! Having an in house onsen is a bomb!

Great location close to Beppu train station. Wonderful room with beautiful ocean view and excellent meals.

Very worth the price ; location, room, facility and staffs - Room is very clean, big and i think the bathroom renovated not long ago - No drinking water provided in the room but there is water machine at 5fl.

This was probably the best place we stayed in Japan. We booked the room with the private onsen that looked out onto the ocean, it was absolutely stunning. The traditional breakfast was so beatiful, very different to our usual breakfast but nonetheless delicious, you have to try it at least once and i'm glad we did. The staff were very helpful with looking after our bags before we checked in. We smashed all the Jigoku (hells) in the afternoon and had a blast. Our only regret is not staying in beppu longer.

Location is good for driving traveler. Free parking lot is a plus point.

Beautiful view of the water and very cozy!!

We stayed in this hotel as tourists. Giving + for caring stuff and little provided bonuses like bath salt and good choice of hair products. Also I loved the view from the window and spacious room. Minus for scent of tobacco from the furniture and unwashed satin bedspread. Be aware, it’s a hotel for couples, so you need to know that you will pay for stay each day separately, and any time you’ll need to leave your room - you’ll call the staff. Basically, good for its price and close to the station.

Beautiful view, excellent size, and amazing bathroom. We received complimentary passes to the Sakaru Yu onsen.
