The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and nice. The view from the room is gorgeous. Really enjoyed the hot spring and meals. Definitely going to recommend it to friends who want to come to Hakone.

Staff were very accommodating. Kaiseki dinners were great, with the kitchen staff explaining everything perfectly. Onsens (both private and public) were great, with complimentary refreshments being a great bonus (coffee milk, yakult, ice cream). Massages were incredibly rejuvenating, and easily booked via the front-desk. Shuttle bus from the ryokan to the station was incredibly convenient.

Loved the location - bus stop was outside the property. Yunessun (onsen) across the street and 2 family marts. 10 min walk to Gora and Hakone Open Air Museum. Nestled in the mountains with a stunning garden and view. Amenities were great - onsen was beautiful and so clean. Breakfast and dinner were incredible! Blown away by the choices and suitable for all dietary requirements. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything you could need. I booked the day before arriving and for the price, it was a steal! ($800 CAD for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included - other places were $1500+)

the onsen was an exceptional experience. Being vegetarian we could not get much of our choice of food. but the staff were helpful in providing what is available as vegan.

I love their atmosphere, the hospitality, and their kind accommodations for our specific needs such as our dietary restrictions. Since they offered a very delicious vegan breakfast and dinner. I also enjoyed the private and open baths. I had wished to have atleast stayed for one more day.

You could not ask for a better location. The hotel is located a mere steps away from Gora Station, which is a major station connecting to the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Hakone Tozan Cable Car & Ropeway. Gora itself is a great location for those who wish to explore Hakone. There are plenty of onsens, cafes, and restaurants around, and it is a well-connected jump-off location to other places within the Hakone area. The hotel itself is split into 4 units of villas. We stayed at one of the West ones and it had great facilities and amenities. The villa had ample bedding (both regular beds and futons) which were all comfortable. The kitchen was complete with all the necessary appliances, utensils and cutlery, enough for our family of six to use. The villa was spotless and clean and it was very cozy. Our family particularly liked the warm lighting and the earth tones of the villa, it made our stay very homey and comfortable.

New property on a hill with great views. Property was very quiet & clean. The room itself was amazing. Lots of space for our party of 5. The private bath was a hit but the deck was the best part! The hotel is a short & easy walk to Gora Station. We left a bag & the hotel staff promptly mailed it back to our house. I would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy. Excellent beds and pillows. Comfortable chairs. Everything was above expectations.

My original booking got canceled so I found this one last minute. I was looking for copper and found gold! After a long week of sightseeing this place finally helped me to relax. It was exactly what I expected from traditional Japanese logging: tatami flooring, futon beds, shoji doors - you name it! And of course the staff were very nice.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay with. It blends modern and traditions together in one house. It has everything we need as a family. Convenient location to get around.

We had 6 travelers, and this was everyone's favorite stay in Japan! We were so bummed we had only planned 1 night there - everyone said it was the most comfortable beds, comforters, and the most relaxing stay!

It's a nice a quiet place with a ton of space. There's a great cafe next door that sells great food and the combini is nearby as well.

The room was spacious and clean, and the scenery made the stay even nicer.

The house was beautifully decorated, and had all the appliances needed for cooking and cleaning dinner for ourselves. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Having the option for a more traditional bedroom as well as a western sleeping arrangement was also nice. The location was also great and fairly easy to get to between the bus and train system, and having a 7-11 nearby was extremely convenient. The rock bath was an extremely relaxing experience and easy to set up.
