Rooms in Hachimantai

We loved everything at the hotel during our 5 night stay. We were promptly picked up and dropped off at both the ski resort and the local station on the hotel shuttle bus. The staff were lovely; polite and super helpful. Coffee machine in the foyer, ski room, onsens, and the beautiful Japanese dinner and breakfasts were to be experienced.

Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. They provided a shuttle service since the walk is about 15 minutes to the slopes.

Amazing staff, food, onsen, and location.

Great place, the staff could not do enough to help us. The breakfast was good, and if you book in advanve the evening dinner service is great, but because it is very good there are a lot of takers and space in limited so book ahead. If you don't get to eat in, there a good Indian restaurant 50m around the corner, or a 400m walk to one the best bakeries in Japan, which also does great coffees and meals at a very good price and on the same road as the bakery is Bar19 which has very good burgers. The owners ran us up and back to the ski field daily, about 500m, organised discount lift tickets. The resort bus stops very close to the Pension (20m), you can catch it down to the 7-Eleven about 2km and back but watch the bus stop map as the return route is different.

Luxury hotel with excellent ski in/out service. It is connected to 2 other hotels with an internal corridor so you can access many restaurants and shops. Rooms are super spacious. We booked the family room on 1F that has its garden. The garden was filled with snow which made our kids super happy. There was also free afternoon tea and drinks (with quite a bit of choices) every day with live music.

Great facilities, amazing food, and the most helpful staff, and a stunning view of the mountains.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. After seeing that we had small children in the room they provided a diaper pail and children's bathing items for our second night stay. Our server for dinner made it a point to greet our children at every chance she had, our family felt very welcome at the establishment.

this place was like a dream, the room was very cozy and comfy, great view, peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, yet there's shuttle vans to take you to the train staion or Lawson, the hosts were so kind and helpful, although we speak different languages but they're willing to help and the translator app was very handy XD I really appreciated the time I've spent there.

The breakfast was some of the best food I has in Japan! The bath was wonderfully relaxing. I loved how quiet it was and my chats with the women who ran the pension.

Onsen-inn with shared family baths. Close to the Hachimantai ski resorts (couple of min of drive) and Mount Iwate. Very friendly and helpful owner, who helped us purchase discounted skiing passes for Appi Kogen for the next day! Has all essential facilities and comfortable rooms.

It's close to a good source of beer.

Cleanliness, friendly staff/owners, flexibility with room assignments in our group and parking.
