FranceI love how the space feels like coming back home, the owner is really kind, funny and I enjoy talking with him and other travelers. We sat all together and had some fun.time. The room I stayed in was a dormitory, the futon mattress was comfortable. I enjoyed the location as well. Even though it's a 30 min walk to the station, it's a really historical area and you will enjoy walking around. I highly recommend it!.

The hotel is close to train station and service is good. We arrived early and staff help to keep and send our luggage to hotel room when it was ready. The view from our room was also nice, can see Mount Iwate.

Very comfortable with a very large, typical Japanese bedroom nicely decorated and all necessary amenities. Good location between the train station (10 minutes walk) and Hiraizumi’s historical sites (10 minutes walk as well to the closest one). Charming village, clean and full of flowers. The owners are extremely kind and fully dedicated to their guests, as there is only one room in the property.

This Dormy Inn is more than the basic business hotel. You have the usual clean (for one person in even quite spacious) room, but on top of that there is so much more. You have the rooftop onsen, after which you get an ice cream, and there are free ramen if you feel like a midnight snack.

The location is perfect, just accross Kitakami JR station-it's about 3mins door to door! Made my traveling with shinkansen much easier. Friendly & helpful staffs, good Japanese breakfast, and the room quite spacious for my suitcase. Lawson is just behind the hotel. Will definitely stay in this hotel again for my next trip in Japan.

-The Inn is within walking distance from Hiraizumi Station.
-The room in spacious, well appointed, and immaculately clean. The view from my 2F room is refreshingly expansive.
-The manager was cordial and willing to communicate with non-Japanese travellors.
-Overall with limited accommodation options in Hiraizumi, Iris Yu represents great value as long as you don't expect the luxury ryokan experience.

I didn't stay at the this hotel as I didn't want a room on a high floor. The staff went above and beyond to take me to another wonderful onsen hotel near by They were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly and ensured I had a wonderful experience staying in the area. Thank you so much🙏💕

Room 409 is comfortable and clean. The bed is comfortable. The room includes a bathroom with a bath, a fridge, a desk, a hairdryer and cosmetics. It's nice that there is a window in the room. Great location of the facility, close to attractions. Very nice and helpful staff. There are several convenience stores (combini) next to the building

This place is luxury personified. The hotel is stunning. Very Japanese. The baths are amazing. We had one in our room that was fantastic. The food was beyond description. The best part was the young woman who took care of us. She was delightful, funny, attentive, so patient with our Japanese failures (many), our food tastes. We laughed a lot. She was beyond exceptional. We walked around the area which was also fun.
