Welcoming and friendly staff, warm cosy hostel for a short stay. I met some lovely people. Great location

Shuttle bus. Took the shuttle bus. The driver was very friendly, courteous and comfortable. Staff. The staff all seemed to take pride in working for Nara Hotel. Excellent. Pajamas. Good pajamas, as I thought when I stayed there last year.

If you want the authentic feel of a ryokan, this is the place. Nara Park is right next to the property, where you can feed the famous deer. The tatami beds are incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed drinks on the terrace with an amazing view. It was a pity that the Pagoda is currently under renovation, expected to be completed around 2033 — so if you book here, don’t be disappointed if you can’t see it. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Lots of space, many rooms traditionally decorated with enough places to sleep, comfortable beds and pillows, lovely inner garden, all necessary appliances for short or long stay. Additionally, queit neighborhood with public bath and train station. Everything was perfect.

Very nice property in residential area. Easy to get to from main JR station, walking distance about 20 minutes. There is another JR station close by, only 5 minutes walk which can take you to main station. The house is clean and beautiful, they have everything we need for our stay.

It was amazing experience to stay in real Japanese house. Neighborhood was very silent and cozy. House is big enough to stay for big family. Facilities are perfect, clean and more then enough to feel like home. Owners are amazing people, they gave us bicycles to ride around and it was so great to reach Nara Park just in few minutes. Strongly recommended for everyone who wants to explore amazing Nara.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful showing us around the property. Our room was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. Ambiance was nice I loved how you can hear the birds chirping outside and the water trickling when it rained. The kitchen was very nice to keep our food in. Shower and bathroom was pleasant and kept clean.

Great spot! I had my parents come to Japan and it was super close to the train station. Very clean space and exactly what we needed to tour Nara.
