Breakfast menu had a lot of variety and was very tasty. Rooms were a nice size - larger than some other hotels in Japan. Very short walk to train station - no problem even with luggage. Did not need to rent a car - the train provided transportation to everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again. Side note - when we were there, the front desk was selling a flat, collapsible umbrella that was very convenient to carry. I had not seen anything like it before. Most of the 8 members of our team bought one.

The cottage was very clean, with many kitchen utensils. 👌. The owner, though, can support in japanese only was very helpful. The kids liked the place very much. It was a very good experience for the family.

10/10. Sauna was really good. Local navigation app needed for entering the local area from the main road entry. Overall highly recommended
