We enjoyed our stay. One can have the privacy needed although in a shared space, also with food options, and sauna.

It was a great price and location

This hotel was the perfect finishing touch to our family’s trip to Eastern Hokkaido. The room was beautiful, modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, relaxing, and welcoming, while still being lively and enjoyable.

The staff where really nice and helpful, the Onsen was amazing, the room was clean and there is a really nice lobby with drinks and snacks

Shiretoko is an amazing place that is a must visit for anyone in Hokkaido, and Shiretoko Hotel is the place to stay. Enjoy an spacious room with beautiful views and all amenities, including confotable baths.

- Great location to Utoro Bus Terminal within 5-min walk - Cozy place to stay with clear instructions about facility rules and how to make a futon bed - Delicious Japanese home style food (dinner and breakfast). I also enjoy the puddings in the restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast buffet were superb. The onsen was great, and the view from the room was beautiful.

There was one particular staff member who was so helpful, he showed us how to use the microwave and was just really kind. The view of this place is phenomenal, I know there were some fancier hotels at sea level and I think those really miss out on these gorgeous views. We watched sea eagles flying in and it was a delight. The onsen was wonderful and quiet. We had tatami beds and western beds. The common areas had beautiful views as well, cool hand painted murals, and interesting books. This place was just delightful with great views.

Really out of our expectations. Starting from the services and greetings from staffs, to the entire activities offered. The most expectional was the food, it was buffet, but really michelin style buffet. Before our stay, we hesitated in adding dinner and breakfast to our package, but now we are grateful we did. The food isn’t just premade and placed on the counter for you to take, there was about 4-6 chefs up there and cook fresh plate to your orders. Each chef has a signature dish, so there was a great variety. Not to mention about, the interior and the book selection. Both me and my boyfriend were art major students, the selection of books really required great taste and an amount of knowledge in art. Especially there was a corner for all photographies done over the world in the same latitude as Shiretoko. Would book again.

The place was about 15 min drive from the main road by the coast, which was convenient for us who traveled by car. The hosts were nice and helpful. The place was quiet. The room interior was updated (newer than expected from looking by the photo) and clean with a traditional/japan vibe. I also love how we explored new hidden treasures nearby.

Location 5 minutes away from Shiretoko NP, seaview, very friendly staff, private onsen and excellent food all make this place a little gem. Looking forward coming back!

It was easy and lovely to stay there. The house was comfortable for 5 people to stay with plenty of space for us to park 2 cars. Facilities such as washer and dryers were provided, which were useful for us. Great location near convenience stores and good restaurants. Overall, a great and comfortable house to stay in.

The house was well equipped, everything felt so new and clean! Our host was very responsive and provided us with helpful information about Shiretoko and the area. We enjoyed one of the house’s highlight - its special hot tube. We highly recommend it!

It’s a big house, nice parking, nice view, nature water nearby, cute goat….since it’s not allowed to cook but the staff still helped us ( borrow us bowls etc) to make salad and miso soup.
