Great place to stay in Sigiriya. The man (I forgot the name) at the reception was very helpful and very kind. Perfect place to stay.

Had an amazing stay at Lotus Eco Villa. First of all the tree house is just awesome. It’s clean, spacious and it has all the amenities one might need. Secondly, being located in a side road, makes it a nice and quiet location as well. Thirdly, the breakfast including coffee, toast, eggs, pancakes and fresh fruits was delicious. All in all a highly recommended accommodation to stay at if you’re planning to visit Sigiriya!!

The owner Hiru is super, super welcoming. Speaks English well and has licenses to prove his legitimacy. Honestly a great start into Sri Lanka.

Staying at Niyagala Lodge was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and peaceful, the location is close to many attractions, the food is delicious, and the host Isuru is amazingly helpful. There’s also the chance to join a workshop to learn how to cook traditional Sri Lankan recipes. On top of that, Isuru easily arranged a trusted driver for us, who accompanied us for the following three days as we travelled to Nuwara Eliya and Ella, and we had a great experience with him as well. Highly recommended for backpackers but also for families.

Perfect and would recommend. The pool was lovely and clean and so refreshing after a long day. We left early for Lion Rock and came back for a quick swim before checking out - worked perfectly.

We spent three nights here and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Ranindu and his family – they’re genuinely warm and attentive to your needs. The property is stunning. Super nice stay! Breakfast and diner were amazing, room was super clean, and the owner is the nicest guy! Even though we had a lot of rain during our stay in Sigiriya, this place made our 2 days amazing.

For the price you get so much things. We came late very tired and they made us exellent dinner with such a big portion. They have cats and dogs there also

Apart from a lovely place to stay, we got some of the best curries for dinner here that we had in all of Sri Lanka. And very helpful host!

The property was very peaceful and welcoming. The employees were extremely helpful by offering us advice on our daily plans, rides to local restaurants and any other advice we were looking for. Definitely would stay there again.

Rajitha and his family (the hosts) were so welcoming and kind, he organised all our trips and transport including a sunrise hike to Pidurangala rock, a safari for the afternoon, airport transport and onwards transport- making our stay hassle free, very reasonable prices, and top quality services. The breakfast which was included was lovely, and very generous portions. All freshly prepared. The room was perfect- clean, spacious, fan, mirror, and warm shower. The beds were comfortable and towels provided. The home stay also had filtered water available, and rooms were secured and could be locked. The locations is perfect for all attractions and very quick Tuktuk or walk in to the local town for food. The kindness of the host family and all the gents who did our tours and transport was above and beyond. Thank you so much! sigiriya arecanut garden😍👍🏻

One of the best home stays I have ever been to. The couple who own the guesthouse are super friendly, helpful and professional. The pool was pristine , and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was also excellent but be careful there is a lot of food 😂. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
