Kenneth set up Mango House originally to cater for Japanese tourists to Sri Lanka. Post-COVID he made the decision to open up to everyone and I'm so glad he did. The grounds are immaculate, and there is such an obvious sense of pride in what he does. The guest house is essentially it's own little compound with gardens and a pool, And is such a wonderfully peaceful break from the chaos.

So clean and comfortable. Such beautiful friendly staff. The pool was great and it was so relaxing. So easy to walk to other restaurants and activities. We arrived very late in the night and the staff were so accommodating with that. Yummy breakfast! We were made to feel very special and felt very rejuvenated and relaxed after having long flights beforehand.

I stayed at Edward’s Airport Guest for one night and had a great experience. The host is incredibly nice and kind. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There’s also a pool where you can chill and relax, which is a nice bonus. The location is very convenient—only about 20 minutes from the airport. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again.

The manager and his wife make you feel special from the moment you arrive - actually before that - as I had sent them a host of emails and they replied incredibly swiftly. I knew they were caring and professional just from their response's. Nothing was too much trouble and if I hadn't been travelling around I would have made Hotel Transylvania my base - its proximity to Colombo and also the airport makes it an excellent staging post.
