We had such a wonderful stay at Camp River! The hosts were amazing – always kind, smiling, and making us feel at home from the very first moment. The whole place is very clean and well taken care of. The food was delicious, with generous portions that kept us more than satisfied, and we really enjoyed the good beer and wine 😀. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montenegro – we’ll definitely come back!

The owner was super friendly! He greeted us with wine and cake and helped us with everything, even taking us to the boat tour and picked us up!

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Hotel Pelikan. Despite being located in a busy section of town, our room was surprisingly quiet despite the outside noise. Our room was small, basic and matched the pictures online plus comfortable and clean. Check in/out was smooth and easy, which included a welcome drink. Free street parking is available but can be crowded at times (although we always found a spot). The wifi connection was spotty. The breakfast was good with varied menu choices. Despite what's mentioned in other reviews we were asked but not pressured to book a boat tour. We elected not to which was fine with the hotel staff.

Fantastic stay with an incredible host! This apartment Villagio is in a truly fantastic location. With peaceful surroundings with stunning mountain views, it provided the perfect tranquil escape. In the apartment we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional host. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had a memorable trip. From showing us around the area to taking us on a fascinating tour of his family's traditional olive oil factory, his hospitality was absolutely AMAZING! This personal touch added a truly authentic and enriching dimension to our holiday. Highly recommended for those seeking a quiet getaway with a genuine local experience!

It is truly a rare experience to discover a place while traveling that immediately feels like home, and this was certainly the case for us at Marco's place with him and Sonja taking so much care of the guests. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at this place which is filled with kindness, beauty, and respect for nature. We would be delighted to return in the future. The rooms were equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and the garden provided a lovely space to relax. The surrounding region offers many, many opportunities for exploration (we loved the recommended hike to the waterfall), although we were unable to see everything during our four-day visit. The availability of bikes was also a big advantage for us, as we were traveling without a car.

It was so peaceful. The birds were really putting on a show and the view is stunning. The cottage is really well done. Marko has done an amazing job making it a sanctuary for his guests. We decided to have the dinner and breakfast prepared by his mother and it was perfect. I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Perfect location to visit Virpazar! It is in the heart of the town but still very quiet. The hosts were very friendly and kind. I got a small injury when I arrived in town and they helped me by calling a taxi for me and making sure I was okay

Welcomed with juice and Turkish coffee and then homemade doughnuts and cheese . Excellent host. Lovely suite with balcony overlooking the river and boats . Fantastic value .Parking on site Highly recommend . Boat tour organised on our arrival

The place was clean, the balcony was lovely very private and we loved the view . Lady owner gave us a kettle which was a bonus . Location is excellent too .

We had a lovely stay at Miona’s. The host were so nice and helpful. Small gestures like juices or a piece of cake, make us felt welcomed :) We totally recommend the room which were clean and comfortable.

Every detail for our comfort had been thought of when furnishing the cabin, it was absolutely beautiful and was so much more luxurious than the cabin we were expecting. Welcome drinks, an outstanding breakfast set on the little table and chairs outside the front door - all wonderful. We could have stayed so much longer!

Breakfast was good, clean swimming pool with all facilities to chill and relax around, quiet and cosy rooms. Private tours on Skadar Lake.

Apartment in a very nice natural location, spacious and very well appointed. Hosts are very nice and helpful: we got lost due to a navigator error and arrived very late, and somebody stayed up to wait for us. The structure can also provide very nice boat tours of the lake: ours was outside peak hours and allowed us to be basically alone on the water for two hours.

We toured by bus then train from Poderica to Skadar. The train is primitive. We were dropped off far outside the unannounced station at night. we jumped down from the open door onto the tracks more than a meter below with our luggage in a dark forest about 500 m. from some lights in the distance and Nancy has mobility issues. The hotel family picked us up an hour later..the station was closed. The family was gracious.

The view from the room is just amazing, as well as the food in the restaurant. It's also unexpectedly quiet for a place located this close to a highway. There are two air conditioners so both bedrooms are nice and comfy.

Wonderful apartment with a large balcony and a breathtaking view. Marko's mother is an amazing hostess - she welcomed us with homemade rakija and liqueur, and in the room we could drink an infusion of a mixture of local herbs she had prepared. The breakfast was delicious and huge - we felt in love with the homemade donuts ❤️ We also took up the offer for dinner - a 3-course meal was served in the room and was totally delicious!

Loved the pool and the way the whole complex has been designed, the perfect amount of small houses that are well equipped for a family. Service was exceptional and loved that you had the option to have food cooked for you or you had the facilities to cook for yourself.

Wonderful rural location with a swimming pool overlooking the mountains. Dinner was very tasty indeed and the host threw in a wine tasting of their delicious wines
