Rooms in Sliema

We had a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony - a very nice surprise. The room was clean, bathroom clean, provided bathrobes and slippers. Very nice and clean as a whole, even the elevators were cleaned regularly. Pool on the terrace and pool on the ground floor heated and clean. Spa services very nice with very accomodating personnel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would gladly give it the highest rating—mainly thanks to the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and truly made us feel welcome, especially Nevena. The hotel is in a great location in Sliema, close to everything you need. It's a newer property, which shows in the modern design and clean feel. We appreciated the coffee machine in the room—such a nice touch for a morning boost. The rooftop pool was another highlight, offering a great spot to relax.

A boutique hotel with really friendly staff who made me comfortable being solo in Malta. Super flexible as well. A huge shoutout to Diego for being so kind and understanding with some of my requirements!

The room was spacious, neat and tidy. The location was really good. The bus stops are your doorstep. You do get sea-view. Once outside there are benches for sitting in the walkway of the promenade. A whole lot of pubs, ice cream parlours and restaurants are around the place. The whole bay area is great for morning and evening walks. I walked probably a whole lot from ferries to st julians bay...The rooms are nicely insulated from the outside noise as it is busy street. You can also have food in the hotel as there is a restaurant.

Free and helpful people with good environment

The hotel has a great location in Sliema, There are public bus stations very close by, and tours can also pick you up right there. The breakfast has a great variety of food and is delicious. All the staff are very friendly, always smiling, offering recommendations, and providing excellent service. Our receptionist, Cristian, was the best from the moment we arrived; he was incredibly helpful, even giving us tourist recommendations, he speaks many languages so it was easy to ask questions about the hotel and Malta. We had a great experience in The Diplomat hotel.

Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options to start the day. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was friendly and very helpful. A special thanks to Ben at the reception, who went above and beyond with his advice and recommendations. He truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Better than standard breakfast, fresh food, fresh bread, not bad at all! The rooms are very cozy, the beds comfortable, the pool on the roof terrace is great! And the place is just located perfectly, close to both sites of town and close to the ferries and buses to visit the rest of the island.

The breakfast was great as well as the service, and the room was clean and comfy

I liked it so much I had to extend my stay for another three nights, I booked the Seaview room, I highly recommend. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Probably in my top 5 hotels I tried in booking.com so far. For what I wanted and needed this stay for, there was literally nothing bad to say.
