The cabin is small but functional, it had everything we needed and everything was clean. very quiet location. We had a very pleasant stay.

The house is small, but it feels surprisingly spacious inside. It is incredibly cozy and equipped with absolutely everything you might need. The view is gorgeous! There are plenty of heaters, so it was never cold indoors, and the kitchen is fully stocked for everyday cooking. We also really appreciated the covered parking space. It is worth noting that there are two private restrooms (one with a shower) located in the main house. These are exclusively for your use and feature heated floors, which is a wonderful touch. Walking between the guest house and the restrooms was never an issue for us at any time of day or in any weather. Finally, the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming people.

I am so glad that Booking.com is offering more options than just hotel rooms. This lovely home had everything (including spices!) we needed to make our own breakfast and dinner each night, then eating lunch out on our various treks to Norheimsund and beyond. Comfortable beds and gorgeous views over the lake made for a delightful respite after 3 weeks driving through Norway. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer so we could come home with clean clothes. All of the amenities of a well-loved home…cozy blankets, candles, a plethora of games…made for an enjoyable stay. Many thanks to lovely Gunnie who was so attentive to our needs and technological challenges😉

Amazing place! So well thought through with amenities, thoughtful touches, and anything we could have wanted. Sarah was just lovely. It was such a great place. Relaxing, well designed, super comfortable, great location.
