This resort is just gorgeous. The rooms we stayed in were brand new and we loved sitting out watching the moon over the ocean at the end of the night. It was smaller than I expected, but perfect for us.

Staying at Emoha was so far our best experience while travelling in the Philippines. From the first step into the property we felt at ease. The resort is beautifully designed, clean, quiet, as it’s away from the main road and safe. All the facilities are well maintained, organized and well taken care of, starting from the floor of the resort up to the roof which to me looked like engineer’s masterpiece. Rooms are very specious with a big balcony and amazing view, quiet AC, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with strong water pressure and abundance of hot water, drinking water was available at the water station downstairs. Resort has a swimming pool, hammocks and you can also order massage and will be accommodated with massage beds right there in the garden with soothing sea breeze. During our stay we visited Oslob Whale Shark watching point which is 20 minutes drive away and Aguinid Falls, we went snorkelling every day and couldn’t get enough of it! Special thanks to our gracious host Lottie who welcomed us, Rafael resort's diving instructor who shared about great coral reef wonders which were just a step away from the resort, helpful and smiling girls and wonderful chef who amazed us with her cooking skills. In the future we would definitely like to stay at Emoha and can recommend it to someone who’s looking for a comfortable stay with great style.

Very warm ambiance, you have everything you needed. Nice property considering it’s far from the city.

Ging Ging Hotel and Resort in Oslob is such a nice place. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. The food is really good, especially for the price. The rooms are very clean and the aircon is really, really cold perfect after a hot day. Super relaxing place to stay. Worth it and would definitely go back!

We had the best stay here! This small quiet hostel is in the perfect location if you have come to Oslob to see the whale sharks. It's right opposite the entrance to the walk in tickets but also if you want to explore it's an easy 15 mins motorcycle or TukTuk ride into Oslob town. We found Oslob so charming and authentic, all the people are so welcoming and friendly. Ken who is the main host at Way Shack is brilliant. He made our 2 nights stay in Oslob so relaxing and helped us with everything. He has good English so easy to communicate with and is very professional and personable. The room is basic but clean and comfortable with a large space for luggage.

These guys are simply magicians. Everyone comes there mainly for the sharks, and thanks to them we managed to get on the first boat. As a result, we were the very first ones to reach the sharks. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it really well. Everything else was very pleasant too: the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Jomar for his excellent communication skills with clients. 👍

Bathroom could be better. Showerhead was no good. No shower curtain or anything to prevent flooding the whole bathroom.

The property was very central and close to the market and 7-11. The staff was super nice and helpful. They even made me a breakfast item that wasn’t on their options. Love the staff

great sea side resort - dinning on the water - direct ocean access - breakfast options were great, Nice hot shower / internet worked great - easy to access local activities (whale sharks - waterfall) Direct access to the bus - north or south.

We loved the location, the size of the room and the view, how close it was walking to the Oslob whale watching and of course the people! Joyce and Shannon were amazing and shared so many suggestions on activities and transportation and even local pan de sal.

This is hands down the best place to stay to see the whale sharks! The place is clean and safe and the staff are so helpful and friendly. It was so easy to get tickets and see the whale sharks. They even helped with photos and sent us off with a friendly smile. Everything was so organized! Highly recommend!

This property is owner operated and the owners are amazing people. If you want to do any site seeing they will arrange everything for you. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Was there only to spend the night before going to see whale sharks and then to Moalboal sardine run. Can recommend this itinerary to anyone, certainly beats getting up at 3 AM to get from Cebu. Property satisfied all our requirements: nice, big room, quiet and effective air conditioner (same model as in my home), hot water running without issues, soft, comfortable beds (memory foam but it's fine), quiet location (heard only soothing sounds of the ocean). We slept very well. Didn't visit the beach or turn on the TV so can't comment on that. Owners are very nice people and they can organize excursions to whale shark watching / sardine run. However, a bit of advice: in reality the only thing you need is transportation. The activities themselves are very well organized and you don't need to book ahead (it's not even possible) - just show up early enough to avoid waiting for hours. We arrived at whale shark site at 6 AM and got #127 in the queue, we waited for 1.5 hours for our turn but it didn't feel like a long time at all, since there are places to eat and drink coffee, souvenir shops, etc. Anyway, the only thing you need is some way to get to these places, so you can book a taxi yourself, it's not hard, or hotel owners can do that for you, they quoted us the following taxi prices: 5000 PHP to get to Cebu or 3500 PHP to return to the hotel (this includes drive to the whale sharks, then to Moalboal, then to Cebu or hotel). We decided to rent a car from Cebu airport for 1 day instead (drive to Oslob, sleep in this hotel, then the same itinerary), it costed us 2900 PHP (2000 for car + 900 for 3 hours late return, you might avoid the latter) and worked beautifully. Do mind that driving in the Philippines is crazy, but for me it was fun.

We liked the guesthouse, it was very nice and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I was very convenient for us on our stay ,and the room was comfortable.

The room is huge with two queen size beds. So my sister each had one bed that we really deserved 😂The room is clean and relatively new. The amount paid is worth it The owner is super kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and relatives who are planning to visit Oslob.
