A lovely place ❤️, looks like recently reconstructed. All was nice and clean. Clearly communicated instructions about the 'key' and it was easy to get in. A short walking distance from the centre and all the sights.

The historic buildings were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. And all of the historic sites as well as the city center were in easy walking distance. This is the perfect place to stay if you're wanting to experience the local history and culture.

Slottsgården Hotell och restaurant, a charming boutique hotel, will open in May 2025. Slottsgården now has a restaurant and bakery and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
