CanadaThis cabin is in a fabulous garden filled with flowers and plants. The cabin itself is cosy with all necessary amenities. The decor of the cabin is wonderfully whimsical, with many handicrafts. (The host is obviously a talented gardener, and a queen of crochet)! Anita was responsive before and during our stay. Her hospitality was exceptional. Property is a very short walk from church and main street. Granna turned out to be a great stop between Stockholm and Malmo/Copenhagen. Very pretty town. Birthplace of the candy cane!

Have never heared anything as kind as last midnight, arriving 4+hours after registering times. "Would you like to have something from kitchen?I could find you something" . Well, mr.. My heart melt! The house was welcoming (just like arriving home!) and our room was lovely (no TV! Perfect! Who needs tv in bedroom?). It was so quiet to sleep and breakfast was good and yard was nice. Absolutely want to come back!

Sauna&breakfast are lovely! Views facing water are better than looking from back of hotel floors 7&up so spring for a superior room or ask for a free upgrade although I don’t know if the young staff would be wise enough to do it? It would be better customer service/relations for a chain!

Amazing view, absolutely awesome location and castle experience!
Note: if you want a castle experience, make sure you are booking the right room. It is not clear here on Booking. Our room was in a nearby house, we found it out at Check in. However due to super helpful and amazing staff we got upgraded to a castle room!

The view was divine! My room was on the 12th floor and although I only had part lake view opening the drapes was… Huge! Everything was nicely signposted and the staff at reception was helpful.

It's a nice and lovely B&B with big cosy rooms. There is a fully stocked kitchen for you to make your breakfast in in the morning. My room turned out to have an en suite bathroom, which was a nice bonus.

We had a great time with our family during our stay in Svanen. The hosts live in the main house and are very nice and uncomplicated. The accommodation is very quiet, has incredible lake access and a very nice terrace. The fridge was stocked with enough food for our breakfasts when we arrived, thank you! The location is perfect for exploring the nature of the area. We hope to come back again soon.

Upon arrival, the prepaid hotel rooms were not available: the hotel was fully booked and the problem, according to the hotel on Booking.com, was that there were no rooms available!
The hotel then transferred us to the Scandic hotel; a much lower class and quality hotel. We did not get reimbursed for the hotel.

Spacious and cosy environment, has everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. Very nice veranda where we enjoyed the sunset while eating dinner — one can even see a bit of the lake from there! Nice garden.
