My friend and I loved this unqiue boutique hotel on the hillside above popular beaches. Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!

We knew the views were going to be spectacular from the photos and it delivered! Private pool and two levels too! What was an upside surprise is that the villa has been professionally decorated far above what is typical for any kind of rental. Artwork and lighting are exceptional, due to Alex's very creative mind and skill. TV and stereo also far above average. Alex and Jam were very helpful and personable hosts with a wide range of knowledge.
