The room comfortable, the area quiet. The service was exceptional. Location was convenient, food delicious!

Absolutely everything from free roaming game to the friendliness of staff, we felt right at home.

The food was great, especially the ribs. It was very pleasant seeing the animals around the lodge. It was fantastic swimming at night. I highly recommend going there if you want to be surrounded by nature

Marloth Park and Kruger Park - life changing experiences! Buffalo Thorn Villa is perfect accommodation. Relax in a/c comfort with a modern, very clean, comfortable air bnb. (Their photos are exactly as shown) Karen & Gerhard are the perfect hosts. Available on WhatsApp reply within minutes. We were only here 4 nites but we could have stayed here days longer. The hosts gave us all the necessary info on Marloth. Even food pellets to feed the endless animals who stop by the pool here, all day every day! Gerhard put out some grass/hay bale and we had zebra, kudu, impala and warthogs each day! What a special place. Walk or drive to the “fence” overlooking Kruger’s crocodile river. Just a 2 minute drive from the Villa. But really impressed by the hosts, even insisting on greeting us way past a normal check in time. Do yourself a favor, stay with Karen & Gerhard @ Buffalo Thorn Villa!

The place has all the convenience for a self catering accommodation. The host went out of his way to equip the house with all the necessary kitchen appliances and equipments. The place is clean, secure and feels like a home.

Unfortunately i didn't order a breakfast But the place is fabulous & i saw some few different animals that's what i like the most

This lodge is in a truly exceptional location – right on the banks of the Crocodile River, just minutes from Crocodile Bridge, where we exited Kruger National Park. The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking! In the mornings we could watch different antelopes coming to the river to drink – what an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself is full of character and beautifully designed, with every detail thought through. Our room was stunning – the best accommodation we had during our 5-day safari. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft linen, hot water, quality toiletries – even mosquito spray was provided. Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding. The gentleman who welcomed us, assisted during dinner and breakfast, and bid us farewell was truly remarkable – such politeness, gentleness, and care. He made us feel special and looked after, not just like another guest. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend the optional dinner – every dish was excellent. We only stayed one night, but it was far too short. We are already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay!

I had an overall really nice stay at Serenity Du Bois Lodge. I really enjoyed to stay in that 178m2 bedroom that had a balcony where you could see the animals passing around 😄 There was also a public kitchen which was very good because it had multiple fridges, kitchenwares and all the things you want to make your breakfast ☺ The WIFI was okay. Special mention to the host who was a very nice woman, always there to help and make you feel good! May Jesus bless her abundantly 😊 Btw guys, you can book a safari at Kruger Park directly by the intermediate of the Lodge, they also propose pick up services so ask the host for further information about it.

The staff is always ready to help, they really go the extra mile. The food is very good and varied. The safari is wonderful!!!

The property is fantastic! Thank you for the great accommodation, feels like home. The lady who takes care is amazing. Very closed to crocodile bridge gate about 20 min and about 30-35 min away from Malalena gate. The room was very comfortable and area around the house was quite and see some animals was a plus to our trip. I’ll definitely recommend this place for everyone. Nice, clean, comfortable ☺️

Basil and Riet were marvelous hosts and their entire team was first-rate. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the meals were really great, and the location across the river from Kruger was super. We went on one safari into Kruger, which was professional and fun, but we saw a whole host of wild animals just sitting on our porch (none were dangerous). It was both an exciting and relaxing stay.

It was our first time at Marloth park. We were welcomed by a huge giraffe at the gate - though we arrive around 19:00pm The hosts are so patient and Lovely. Big ups They took us for a tour into the villa. Everything is just so perfect. We were complimented champagne - Cherry - snacks and sweets for the little ones aswell. We will definitely come back for more days - we did a mini tour around Marloth park and had an up close experience with the animals. There's so much to do and enjoy. There's also a water park nearby as it is very hot there...!! But we enjoyed every bit of our time there The splash pool is a cherry on top! Highly recommended
