In the winter they supply wood for the dure place and electric blankets which are very comfortable, as it can be cold during the evenings and nights. We would definitely book again!

A wonderful place to stay, close to the Malelane gate. We were upgraded to the suite which had 2 bedrooms. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, helping us get pool towels (even though it wasn't hot enough for the pool). The restaurant was absolutely superb, and they gave us free shots as the train went past. Huge servings of meals and very good value.
Way out of the accommodation brought you out past Shell service station which was perfect timing and very handy for top ups on the way to Kruger. Would happily stay here again.

This is our 2nd visit ,we brought a party of 11,the rooms were all spacious and clean,they were very flexible,as my room needed changing because of walking problem
We had.dinner and breakfast,both were superb and very reasonably priced
PERFECT spot for Kruger,only.just over an hour to Malelane gate

the bedroom was very new and lacked a bathroom mirror.
the bed was comfortable, we would have liked a top sheet rather than just a duvet.

Gaskrop is in the middle nowhere and I think the only reason people come to this town is for the panoramic route (blyde river canyon). There is nothing else otherwise. Gustav's home is a very nice place for a 1-2 night stay. He does his utmost to make you comfortable and has a very nice set up. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which was spacious and very nice. As a picky eater, I have to say breakfast was also good. There were many options to pick from.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Mango Cottage,. It was one bedroom but was very spacious and well equipped. We had our laundry done and that was perfect. Location is very convenient to Hazyview and other local holiday tourist attractions.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bergdale. It was very good value for money and we have already recommended it to friends both in SA and the UK.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
The lodge itself is stunning, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and beautifully maintained grounds. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities we could have needed.
One of the highlights was the food at Orange Restaurant – the meals were delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes.

The lodge was in an excellent location overlooking the Crocodile River with a bush buck ,wildebeest, a magnificent Kudu and Bushbabies all visitors to the lodge. In the evening, we dined watching wildebeest on the terrace . Belinda, the manager
was very friendly and informative and made sure we were comfortable and wanted for nothing. We had an excellent evening meal and a delicious breakfast all served on the terrace. Our room was beautiful, a great view and very comfortable bed.

Ukuthula @ the Kruger is indeed value for money, we had a great stay from the communication with the host to the maintenance guy who assisted us greatly with fire wood and with no hesitation. I must say that we are most definitely coming back, it was home far away from home. Beautiful interior decor, hot water for both in and outside shower. Spacious bedrooms and lovely outdoor experience. 10/10 most definitely worth every cent paid!

We stayed 2 nights and loved it.
Room was big, spacious and clean. Right at the bottom of the garden.
Breakfast was included and just perfect sitting out on the terrace. There was a different special everyday.
There are some bars and restaurants about 5mins drive which are very safe and secure.
The guest house is guarded in the evening.
We felt so relaxed the whole time. Thanks!

The superior room which we were staying in was super clean, spacious and comfortable.
The staff was so friendly, big ups to Tania for making us feel sooooo welcomed, she does her work with so much intent and dedication.
The scenery of animals passing through our room on a daily basis was always amazing, this location gave us a truer sense of connection to nature
