Everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was spacious, cozy, and perfect to escape busy life routine. I loved all the details in the house, the fireplace, the grill in the balcony, the pottery coffee mugs, authentic Chinese green tea, the fresh bed linen, and the setting of the dining table. I would definitely book this apartment again!

Very nicely decorated and comfortable accommodations. Excellent hot breakfast. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts, and nice pets. Actually private bathroom since Covid because they only rent out one room…. unless you want both rooms. In the latter case only, you share the bathroom. It is large and very well stocked. Great view of the ocean and surrounds. Lathe bedroom and sitting couch. Binoculars provided.

Veera is a lovely host, the room was comfortable & spacious with a full length balcony overlooking Courtenay River Estuary, I stopped there two nights whilst seeing friends in the area so made a great base not far from the town
Breakfast was lovely, freshly made & healthy
I would certainly stop there again when I'm on vacation

Our room had a separate bedroom, so had plenty of room. Comfy king size bed. Walking distance to the golf club for dinner. Was close to Nanaimo for the ferry back to Vancouver.

This looks like a classic motel from the 1970s on the outside. But on the inside it has been updated with a lot of comforts. The price was one of the best in Qualicum Beach during our stay. We had a 2 queen bed room. It includes a small fridge, a Keurig machine with multiple choices for coffee and tea, actual china cups and glasses vice paper, and very nice bedding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our visit was a quick one night stay but we would definitely return.

The room was large and spacious and set out nicely, with a fridge/freezer too. There was an outside seating area with a lovely view of the sea. The addition of a guests kitchen was a real bonus.
Breakfast was very tasty and served on beautiful plates and exquisite cutlery. Having breakfast on the balcony with the other guests was a really nice experience.
The hosts were very quiet but exceptionally polite and helpful.

The location is sensational as our room and spacious balcony overlooked Stephens bay and the inlet.Our accommodation was clean and included a big bath that also had a view of the water. The hosts were very accommodating, Michelle was front of house, friendly and knowledgeable about the local region, Stephen,the gourmet chef, who prepared delicious breakfasts each morning. We stayed for 5very relaxing nights and found it hard to leave.

The view from the bedroom was incredible. Loved watching the birds and tiny rabbits. Basement was chilly, we did turn heat on a wee bit. We had all the necessary tools to make our meals.

The place far exceeded our expectations! Although the hotel was on a highway in the city, our room had a beautiful view of the Campbell River and it was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the owner gave us excellent suggestions for what to do and see in the area. We also really liked the gated parking lot. Access to Strathcona Park was unbeatable. We would recommend Chateau Riverside to anyone visiting the Cambell River area.

Nice small apartment with kitchen on a great central location in Victoria, virtually next to the Royal BC museum. Good kitchen amenities and nice bedroom and friendly staff. Closeness to Beacon Hill park also a great plus especially when traveling with kids. We weren’t disturbed by sounds from the road.
