A pleasant hotel, with a good location and a nice swimming pool and sauna. We had a view of Matterhorn from our room, and a spacious balcony to enjoy it. The bed was comfortable, and actually we liked everything about our room - the space and the furnishings, maybe the bathroom looked a bit older, but everything was functioning. The staff was really nice and welcoming. (Also multilingual, which is probably no surprise for Switzerland :)

Nice traditional style hotel. Beautiful views while having breakfast. We had the family room which unfortunately only had a view from one bedroom while the other looked onto an inner courtyard. Overall good value for money but make sure you get a room with a view!

Got upgraded to the newly renovated junior suite. Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed and nice facilities. Loved the balcony - quiet with the Matterhorn view. Very nice staff, high service level.

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful.
The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

The apartment was so spacious with a large living room, full fledged kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Lovely balcony with amazing lake views. There a massage chair also. Kitchen had all utensils, fridge, kettle with a small kitchen table.
Both bedrooms had windows with lake views. We were hesitant before booking looking at the earlier bad reviews about cleanliness etc but the apartment was clean and well made.
Location was extremely good, just on the lake and 3-4 mins walk from brienz train station.

We were 2 adults 2 kids in a family room which was so convenient with 4 beds in 2 separate rooms and a small living area. It was very spacious. Its is just on the lake, Beautiful views from the small balcony and windows. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful, they drove us with our luggage to the train station at check-in and check out.

Fantastic location close to train station with great views across the lake. Our room was upgraded to an apartment/suite with views across the lake and so was very spacious and a really comfortable stay. It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and we had a great table for dinner with birthday table decorations. Dinner service and food were excellent.

What an excellent hotel. On arrival Celine (the manager) greeted us like friends who were coming to stay in her house. She is a happy and very helpful manager for whom nothing is too much trouble. She upgraded our room, and booked us dinner in a restaurant by the lake in Spiez. The room was impeccably clean, with a balcony from which we could watch the sunset over the mountains. This hotel is thoroughly recommended, and I would love to return.
