United KingdomThis is a wonderful properly. It's compact, but not squashed, and fantastic value. Lydgia is a born host. The accommodation has been extremely well thought out. All things considered, the bathroom is pretty spacious, especially a nice big, modern shower. All the fittings have a touch of luxury. And all the decorations are so tasteful. Lydgia supplies lots of little goodies. You have your own off road parking place, and there's a private, tasteful little courtyard with table and chairs, for an evening drink or morning coffee. It is abundantly clear that she wants you to have a v enjoyable stay. There is even a washing machine and tumble dryer. Don't expect views; the large window (with blinds and curtains) overlook the front drive in this well-kept 1960s estate of houses. Yes, it is not in Cambridge centre, but the 20 min drive is v easy, and is fantastic value considering all the above. Also, it gave us the chance to discover the v pretty market town on St Ives. For a one night stop over it is fantastic. But you could use it as a base to explore Cambridge and the area for a few days.

The room was lovely. The decor was very nice and I was very pleased to find my room had a small balcony for fresh air. The adjoining bathroom was nice too and I was happy that the coffee and tea setup was well-stocked. There was even a fan in the room to help me through the heat.

The location was perfect for us, very quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect as we could just help ourselves to what we wanted. The host, Laura was very friendly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome and at home.

Lovely quiet room with a view across open fields. Comfortable bed and good shower. Terrace seating on the banks of the Great Ouse, very quiet and peaceful. Just across the small bridge to St. Ives town centre.

Our room was lovely and clean, spacious and aired. Comfy bed. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, as pensioners we thought it was a little expensive with us staying four night.

Fantastic location in town and beautiful college environment. I was surprised to have AC in the bedroom, but this made an enormous difference. Also, my room overlooked the main street which I thought would be very noisy, but the soundproofing was pretty good1

Very pleasant and convenient place to stay for a week and more. The kitchen, living room, bedroom, toilet and shower room were very clean and comfortable. Working distance from Train Station and if you love working then 20 mins to city centre.

It was a lovely room in a great location,very comfortable and clean.
The owner was a lovely person and so very welcoming.
The entire place was very relaxing with pretty gardens and a really nice pond feature.
We ordered cooked breakfast which was delivered to our room,along with toast,jam,cereal fruit juice,and tea and coffee.
All very enjoyable,
It also was great for parking ,we had a space on the driveway.
I would definately recommend this place,and if I were ever in the area again,I would most certainly book to stay here.

Good size property, with good easy parking. A nice village setting, in lovely countryside, a good size, fully equipped kitchen, spacious, comfy lounge, good TV, spacious comfy bedroom and a pretty good bathroom, apart from slightly loose toilet bowl.
A local Spar shop a short walk up the road.
No traffic noise.

We booked a couple of nights as a base for visiting Ely, which is a short drive away. The hotel is ideally located on the river and we had a lovely room with a balcony. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with a great shower, and a decent-sized fridge which was perfect to store food for our balcony picnic on the first night when the restaurant was closed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, providing fresh milk, wine glasses and even a pen when we asked!

Comfy and sizeable room. Decent baby cot with thicker mattress than most hotels. Breakfast very pleasant with a wide range of choices and lots of different places to sit. Room had hairdryer, iron with ironing board, fridge, safe, view of the railway track, sofa, 'rain' shower. Reasonable prices. Hotel worker came to our room with replacement sheet as we spilt some baby food on ours, etc. Spacious and relaxing lobby.
