United KingdomI've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay

room was excellent overlooking the racecourse, evening meal and breakfast very filling. asked for extra milk for bedroom and they brought us a jug of milk. kerry on reception was dealing with the global IT problem and looked after us well,.

Great location, very central. The host accommodated us when another booking fell through and got the apartment ready for us at very short notice. We were pleasantly surprised, the apartment was very spacious and decorated beautifully. All the three double bedrooms had ensuites and everything was very modern and working perfectly. There were toiletries provided and even lots of free snacks and drinks in the fridge. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

From check in till check out the receptionists were super friendly. The quality of the interior and thought out layout was excellent. My room was spacious, spotless and had amazing lighting. The bathroom was divine, I was forced to have a bath which I do not regret. My favourite detail had to be the buttons to turn on the water. If I hadn’t already booked my train ticket I would have stayed an extra night. This will be the only place I stay when visiting Sheffield.

The property is in a great location and shows a lot of promise from the outside, imposing in - out driveway and good parking facilities (£8 per night). The reception was bright and relatively modern, looked really nice. The bedroom size was great and a good size balcony.

Really spacious, excellent location in walking distance from loads of bars, restaurants, independent shops, the universities, tram stops and the city centre. The fans in the bedrooms were a useful addition to stay cool without having to keep the window open at night.

The flat is in a great location, really convenient for the university and for West Street. It is exceptionally well- equipped with everything you could want there. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and bright; both rooms have their own, compact en suite. The host is helpful and friendly.

Lovely property convenient to the motorway. It was full of character……a converted farmhouse….with oak beams and traditional decor. Bedrooms were spacious and facilities were great. Staff were also kind and helpful especially Judith on hotel reception.

I can certainly recommend The Friendship Hotel for other travellers to this area. The rooms are above a pub and, arriving in the car park at the back of the premises, all you need for entry is the email confirmation from the hotel, which provides a code to enter the building and then to access your room - so, no staff to check-in. There are of course staff available in the pub downstairs. My rooms was spotlessly clean and had all I needed.

The room was a family room and the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. My son had to sleep with my husbands feet in his bed. The air con didn’t work and the windows don’t open so it was like sleeping in a cramped airless cupboard

Plain but comfortable, spacious room with direct access to a lovely little courtyard. Excellent breakfast in a lovely room with very good service. Beautiful terrace outside Spotlessly clean and gorgeous shower in a spacious shower room. Easy access to town centre.
