One of the best properties we have stayed ever. The staff were super courteous and extremely supportive. The property is very neat, well kept and everything about the hotel was just above expectation. I need to call out some names of people who served us too well surprising industry standards. Mary, Roshni and Natasha from the first floor bar. Extremely courteous. Sony and Holyland from the restaurant on the ground floor offered excellent service. Even the chef Tulsi came to our table and we shared some good feedback with him.

I liked the cosy, rustic character of the guest house. It has a nice wooden interior with a comfortable common area, as well as a nice outdoor sitting area in the front. The room I had was very spacious and had a spacious bathroom as well. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well every night. The breakfast was very tasty. I stayed for nearly a whole week and I had the scrambled eggs for several breakfasts and they were great! I wish I could have them again.

First we enquired our stay in Shillong which we can avoid traffic jam and not far from City and centre to many places to visit . Yeah! We choose it right THE TRAVELLER'S guest house, Happy we avoided wasting our time in traffic jams in which our schedules were tight perhaps still got a chance to visit Elephant's falls as it is close-by and one step away. This place located on the highway between roads which leads to Sohra (Cherrapunjee), Dawki, Mawlynong and Mawphlang Sacred groove, Mawsynram. Separate room provided for driver and it was free. Parking space available. Washroom with Western toilet was cleaned and tidy. The room was cozy, convenient and spotless. Free Wifi provided. Room was neat and clean and wonderfully decorated , it felt like home away from home. All required amenities were there like Geyser , Room heater and TV and all perfectly working fine. I would suggest this homestay for anyone visiting Jowai or pplanning a trip in and around Jowai area or meghalaya. Asthetics were very good , rooms were cleaned daily and the washroom was also neat and clean with all required amenities. The location is also good and breakfast served was pretty simple but homely.
