Meals were exceptionally good, very original and fresh. Outdoor bath attached to our room was enjoyable. Shuttle bus to/from the train station was convenient. Front staff was helpful.

Location excellent view of lake, hot springs in room so clean. The breakfast buffet, grilling fish was so tasty and yummy. Dinner with its multiple courses was like eating in a fancy restaurant. Premium food with great freshly ground coffee.

Nice staff waiting for us at late night and welcoming us during check in. The check in process was super smooth and quick. Rooms were tidy and clean. There were microswave , air purifier and other hotel amenities. We could park in front of our rooms.

Beautiful establishment! Gives an old traditional Japanese vibe, still very familiar. Our room was huge, surrounded by Japanese style gardens. Even the kaiseki cusine was good.

the kaiseki breakfast was absolutely incredible.
our room (river view) was stunning and the amenities were great, the staff was absolutely lovely (especially when helping with the yakutas) and the location was absolutely superb - right in the centre of Kinosaki.
THE best night's sleep I've had in years (well over a decade), we roasted ourselves in the amazing hot springs until the very last opening minutes (11pm) and couldn't wait to do it again first thing in the morning.

Staff were super friendly, there is a communal area for relaxing and eating. Super close to a great pizza restaurant (15 min walk). Room is basic, yet very functional, great ac and always good to have a kettle.
