NetherlandsWe LOVED this place. Definitely the nicest place we stayed in Mexico, the rooms are very nice considering how cheap it is. The common area is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Location is great, just a block away from the Main Street. The hotel also helped us with some tours, cheaper than if you get them somewhere else. Definitely recommend this place!

The price vs you’re paying for is very good. It was mix bedroom with around 12 beds, however it didn’t feel crowded besides it was almost full. I paid 50 mxn for the breakfast, usually you pay for the same breakfast in Mexico City around 180-200 mxn. Staff was also cool.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful. Our room was stunning with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden - the facilities were great and the location was perfect. It was a little out of town - about a five minute walk to the zocalo, but that made it very quiet. The people at the hotel were also great - very friendly and helpful. It was perfect.

Nice cabanas on the outskirts of town (20 min walk to the main part of town). Collectivos stop at the main road close to the hotel. Spacious room, balcony and hot water. The pool area with hammocks is very nice too. The staff was very helpful, we could check in early and leave our bags on the last day.

wlthe first evening was pouring cats and dogs which caused the river to rise by 1 meter and thus the cabine got almost flooded so we got a free upgrade in the premium houses. this was more worth the money we paid.. its a concrete building with peivate bathroom and a sink in the bedroom, nothing more (I mean literally - one hanger and one very small table). the safe didnt work.

Our room had a great terrace with rocking chairs and backed onto the jungle. There were lots of howler monkeys nearby and we could even see some near the room!

Very nice and new hostel, the owners are very kind and helpful. They helped me to organise the cab to and from the hostel. I was very lucky to get my room upgraded and they offered me coffee in the mornings. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water and there was good internet connection.
When I got sick with food poisoning the owner was very helpful and offered me herbal tea.
It's a great place for those who like privacy and wish to avoid the crowds.

The hostel is super central, the dorm is spacious and clean. There are big lockers for the backpack and your belongings. The staff is very sweet and the balcony is very nice.

We absolutely loved this hotel, probably the best during our holiday. Very beautiful and old, with a vintage vibe, and a very friendly family that runs it. Our room was beautiful and spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was excellent. The hotel is located in the centre (but not in the main touristy part) and close to many different lovely restaurants. Has its own private parking space.

Hotel La Ceiba has a beautiful lush garden and a nice swimming pool (in the shade). Our room was spacious and clean and the air conditioning was great to have. Staff was very friendly and could book the canyon tour for us. Restaurant serves breakfast but did not serve lunch or dinner when we were there. It is close to the main plaza.
