Very classy ryokan with a beautiful staff and perfect amenities. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and all our needs were attended to. Our walk to the hot sand baths was very easy and the experience was great fun. Breakfast and dinner were exquisite. We didn't spend a lot of time in the onsen, but the facilities were great

It’s puzzling that this place has a rating of only around 8. In my view it is a solid 10. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The hotel establishment is spotless and tastefully done. The outdoor onsen is small but exquisite. We had terrific food and still the rate was so reasonable. Apart from a location that is a little far from the center of Ibusuki, there is nothing I would fault. Definitely a place to return to.

As a tourist, it's one of the best experiences you can have. It's a traditional Japanese house, very simple, without luxuries but with all the comforts.

The location was easy to walk to or catch a bus or ride a taxi. The Onsen and spa facilities were amazing. The restaurant served great food. The small shop had delicious ice creams and omiyagi. Our package included a Japanese breakfast which was delicious. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and super helpful… even insisting on carrying our hiking packs for us! Would book again without hesitation.

The location is breathtaking, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are warm, thoughtful and exceptional. The rooms look out to the sea, tide pools, and Kaimondake.This is our second time to stay at Iseebisou and we love it.
