We were hesitated before booking since the score is not so high . But we made the right choice. Even the decoration is not modern but all equipment are well maintained . Onsen is large clean and good quality amenity . Room are spacious with great view. Kaiseiki dinner and breakfasts are delicious with high quality raw material . Staff are polite and helpful . Recommend for all who want to slow down their pace for few days.

Honestly, 10/10. The place itself was great and had everything we needed, but the host was the absolute best part. Super welcoming and incredibly helpful. If you're looking for a place with amazing hospitality, this is it.

It was my first time staying at a ryokan style guesthouse and I really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shared bathroom was clean and orderly. Mayumi was so kind and very helpful with advice and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

Itsumu was a wonderful blend of traditional ryokan and modern hotel. Our room was a beautiful, pristine tatami mat style with comfortable futon beds. Dinner was excellent and beautifully presented, as was breakfast. They even provided my five year old daughter with beautiful meals designed to appeal to children. The onsen was simple but beautiful, with a semi-outdoor bath overlooking a lovely garden. We would very happily stay here again.
