Ryokans in Ito

Nice location, very good breakfast with lots of choices. The onsen is quite nice with sauna, jacuzzi which seldom found in other onsen hotel. The hotel staff is extremely nice and provide above average hospitality and services. Very happy to give this hotel a recommendation.

Nice private onsen and kind staff

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The historical building and the interior with all of the sitting spots was well done. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked and the AM coffee was very much appreciated.

The property is very relaxing , clean the staff are accommodating and some can speak English which is very convenient for tourists. The breakfast was good , Especially if your a person who like grill fish.

Everything! You will not find a more authentic Japanese experience than this inn! I wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately it rained for two days straight… so our sightseeing was cut short…. But staying here totally made the trip worth while!! From the welcome at reception, to the amazing view from our room and everything in between… it was perfect. We stayed in a room with a hot spring bath in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were delivered to our room. The “kitchen” staff were gorgeous! The futons were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We tried the open air bath at night. Such a different experience in the rain. Sitting in a warm bath, under the roof, listening to the rain falling! It was so peaceful. The owners are very kind and gracious. They are the 5th generation of the family to own the ryokan. They even offered us a lift to the station in the morning and helped us with an issue that we had with our tickets. I am definitely returning in the future!

Like the different kinds of onsen especially the private outside

The food was so tasty. Staffs are so nice and the premium room is very impressive in every aspect.

It's a very unique place that's very good for the price. I enjoyed a very spacious room and had a great view of the ocean. The large public bath was quite nice too. It looks like it was renovated at some point in the past few years too, bit it's still old in a good way.

We had a really great experience staying here. The onsen area is beautiful and the whole place has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. It was very quiet during our stay and there were barely any people, so we could enjoy the baths almost by ourselves, which made it even more special. The onsens are very well maintained. We also liked the private onsens, and it was very convenient that they don’t require advance reservation. The staff were very kind and welcoming and helped us with any questions we had. Overall it’s a lovely, quiet place to relax and take a break from the city. We would definitely love to come back again!

Retro dream land — I loved everything!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Japanese rooms are authentic and comfortable. Onsen is wonderful! Location is great.

Staying in this hotel in Ito was the highlight of the trip! The room had a tatami sea view and an in-room onsen for just over 8100 yen. They also offered a private open-air onsen for 4500 yen/3 hours, which is great value. Initially, I hesitated about staying in Ito for a night, but after visiting, I definitely think I should have stayed another day to relax and sunbathe by the sea. There's no need to rush.

Very clean, nice private onsen, quiet ryokan which is bigger than it looks from the outside , very friendly staff. The food was delicious and of good quality. Rooms were large and comfortable. Price was readily compared to other ryokans in the area.

Own private outdoor bath is a luxury. This hotel is super well equipped for bath needs. They even have grass woven hats for outdoor bath in the rain. We bathed several times a day slept very well.

The perfect location for a getaway from city life. The room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly kind. They even took us to Mount Omura in the morning—not because they were paid to, but simply out of kindness. The breakfast was fantastic, and for dinner, there are some lovely traditional restaurants nearby. There's also a 7-Eleven close by for convenience.

Location and surroundings, very nice onsen (hot springs) and spa treatments, nice food.

The room was very comfortable. I appreciated being able to reserve time in the onsen (and the onsen was great). Would definitely go back again!
