Everything was just perfect - the location, the view over the bay and the fishermen during their nighttime activity, the rooftop onsen and the relaxation under the starry sky, the large, well-equipped room, and a very tasty and diverse breakfast (even for a vegetarian).

We stayed on one of the premium floors, so could use the 8th floor lounge from 2:00 (before checkin). Drinks and snacks were good and free, the view fabulous. Breakfast and dinner were excellent (Viking style).

Lovely location, Tatsu and family are fixing the place up. Had a lovely stay, great location, easy to hop on the train and head into Kamogawa. Quiet, lovely night sky. Lovely individual room bathrooms recently updated. Tatsu’s family was very generous, kind and helpful.

Yoshioka Ryokan enjoys a location in Kamogawa, 16 miles from Takagoyama Nature Zoo and 17 miles from Tateyama Municipal Museum.

The overall ryokan vibe was nice and cozy with tatami mats and shoji screens in the room. Was also convenient to check in with the keys left out on the front desk. Never saw anyone else during my stay during check-in or check-out. The room was also adequately cooled with AC and the bed itself was quite comfortable.
