A lovely family run ryokan! We were welcomed warmly. The accommodation has everything you would expect from a traditioanl Japanese ryokan. There's no private toilet (very common for tranditional ryokan) but the shared one was extemely clean and comfortable, has all the space and facilities you need. The public bath is small but yet very comfotable with everything you need. The meals were so delicious! The rooms were nice and warm! The futons were soft and comfortable. I can tell that the owners were genuinely happy that we chose their ryokan, I would love to go back and stay there again!

The rooms were cozy and the hosts took care to have tea served every day, a yukata, and helped answer any questions I had. I also had the Japanese breakfast, which was delicious!

Great traditional ryokan that I can recommend to anyone! Nice staff, really good japanese style breakfast, beautiful rooms and so much more. I used the ryokan’s onsen every morning and night. Also great location as Zenkōji temple is located right next to the ryokan. 5/5 stars!

Huge, traditional room, with tatami mats, dinning space and private bathroom. Great onsen we had to ourselves. Traditional Japanese breakfast was big and very tasty. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, but for us it was a plus.

Authentic Japanese breakfast served at an agreed upon dining time. Onsens were authentic as were the futons on tatami mats. Great location to the main temple. Recommend this ryokan for a true taste of old Japan.

We loved our stay here. It was great for the family to experience a traditional Ryokan. The breakfast was very good if you want to have a traditional breakfast. It was a great location being right in the middle of Zenkoji Omotesando. Would definitely recommend.

A small but comfortable ryokan sitting on an ancient site on a beautiful pedestrian thoroughfare just fifty yards form the large Zenko-Ji Temple complex, easily accessible from the rail station by either bus or subway. Rooms compact but brilliantly designed - no shoes throughout with every necessary comfort and a really good traditional breakfast. Use the small but well-equipped onsen. Good eateries located nearby but do book.
