Everything was exceptional. Best place we have stayed in ever. Stay was exceptional, hospitality was exceptional and the food was exceptional. Will definite come back.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk.

We spent 14 days in Japan, in multiple cities...this was our favourite city and the hotel was a big part of that. The staff were so welcoming. The rooms were amazing. The private onsen on the roof was fantastic. We will be staying here again without question. A short walk to the temples, deer parks and places to eat and shop. The most amazing coffee house (Norr) is less than a block away.

We appreciated the warm welcome we received. The staff were very attentive, and every detail was taken care of. The room we booked matched the one pictured in the photos. We were also able to enjoy the private bathroom to relax after long days of shopping and sightseeing. Furthermore, the hotel's proximity to Nara Park allowed us to be close to many of its attractions.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public...

I would give 11 if I could. We loved the room (super spacious!), the amenities, the Japanese breakfast and dinner, the onsen, the amazing location and last but not least - they super nice staff.

Nara Kasugaokuyama Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Tsukihitei, very private and in the middle of Nara Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; they took care of every single detail, a unique Omotenashi experience. The food was also exceptional. I just wish I had arrived earlier to enjoy the facility a bit more.

1.1 miles from Nara Station in Nara, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park provides accommodations with access to a public bath and open-air bath.

If you want the authentic feel of a ryokan, this is the place. Nara Park is right next to the property, where you can feed the famous deer. The tatami beds are incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed drinks on the terrace with an amazing view. It was a pity that the Pagoda is currently under renovation, expected to be completed around 2033 — so if you book here, don’t be disappointed if you can’t see it. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

A 10-minute drive from Kintetsu Nara Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle, Mikasa offers open-air baths and a dining room with beautiful Nara views. On-site parking is free.

Ryokan was super beautiful. Great that there was a shuttle bus from Nara station. Staff is super responsive and helpful with messages even before our trip. The onsen was super nice with an indoor and outdoor onsen for both genders. Yukatas were provided for free. The Kaiseki dinner was super super delicious.

A 5-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Train Station, Tsubakiso is an 85-years old Japanese townhouse with a lovely garden and free Wi-Fi throughout.
