United StatesLocated just a street up from the famous canal in Kurashiki, this ryokan was truly exceptional. All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I asked several questions over messages at booking.com before we arrived, and they were highly responsive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well decorated, with small touches making them more beautiful still. The private baths were lovely, and the breakfast and dinner (included for our room) were incredibly fresh and delicious. They were easily able to accommodate one of my party's dietary restrictions, and also made provided porridge with breakfast when they heard one of us wasn't feeling well. They were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay!
