My first experience at a ryokan and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have onsite private onsens (around $5/person) and a 'public' (gender separated) onsen. Both look out upon the bay and are incredibly relaxing and beautiful. The room itself was a splurge and wonderful. The room with tatami mats smell great with a light wood-smell and the futon beds were incredibly comfy. The staff was really nice and helpful and the room was filled with goodies like nice robes, crackers, and tea. I don't know about the onsite food or massage options.

Minshuku Takahashi Kashibuneten enjoys a location in Maisaka, a 12-minute walk from Bentenjima Beach and 27 miles from Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA.

It was pouring when I was leaving, and the owner gave me a ride to the train station. Very nice man.
