My friend and I didn’t really know what to expect, but we quickly got in the rhythm of twice-daily baths, and dining in our yukatas (provided by the inn). Three nights was perfect-so relaxing. The restaurant accommodated my request for vegetarian meals, and they were amazing.

The room was spacious and clean, even included a massage chair which was great for relaxing. You will also find lots of cute ornaments around the Ryokan. The Onsen was nice with a great view, not crowded. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staffs were welcoming and attentive.

We liked the convenience of the elevators and large room size. The indoor and outdoor baths were very nice and we really enjoyed all of the options for hair and body washes, masks, and special creams. We especially liked the big outdoor bath with waterfall and wisteria vines: so glad we went to the baths several times as they change gender at cleaning time.

The location was wonderful, a small Onsen town out of the way. They picked us up form the station. The staff was kind, considerate, and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Cuisine and dining was incredible and refined. Loved the in house Onsen facilities, they were very relaxing. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting an authentic Ryokan experience in Japan.
