The apartment was very comfortable, the area where it is located is very quite and also close to the city center. The facilities were amazing. I think the honesty box idea works great. The apartment was very clean and it was a very relaxing stay. I definitely recommend it and I would stay again.

If I could stay forever, I would! Loved staying at Old Saxo, truly home away from home. Clean, spacious, quiet, easy to find, amazing location!!! Close to everything! Bernard is a lovely human being and gave us great recommendations on where to eat, drink and get chocolate! Highly recommended staying at Old Saxo if you’re going to Ieper.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment, and very clean

Bernard was there to greet us and review his excellent and well organized information booklet. Central location with short walk to town centre with restaurants and bars. Private parking available. Very clean and modern apartment with good Wifi reception

The location could not have been better - right in the centre of Ypres. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Joining and leaving could not have been easier.

Very clean in fact brand new build

Clean, close to main attractions, host is super nice and helpful! Our train was delayed almost 2 hours, and got there past 11pm, and couldn’t get a uber to the apartment. The host picked us up at the station. That was very heartwarming, we truly appreciated him!

The welcome was friendly and the facilities were explained very clearly. The kitchen area was very well equipped and the bathroom was exceptional.

Ypres is a beautiful town and staying at the Menin Gate House made our visit incredible. The museum quality decor, history of the home, and Benoit’s hospitality made our trip to Ypres unforgettable. The home was very roomy for 2 families with kids. Plenty of bathrooms and showers, a big kitchen on the ground level, and another on the 2nd level (3rd to Americans). We all had our own space, plus a really great central gathering space. The location is excellent, made it very easy to walk all around town, and parking our big van in front was a plus. The Last Post Ceremony across the street is a must see, and Benoit gave us excellent recommendations of WWI sites to visit with the short amount of time we had.
