Newly built, beautiful, and comfortable accommodation. Great bed and shower, free Netflix. Nice, peaceful area. The owners are very kind and helpful.

What a beautiful place, the hostess was very informative, everything was very clean and organized, the river in the backyard was beautiful. We enjoy having breakfast outside.

The house had everything we needed, just a quick drive from downtown La Fortuna.

Comfortable and fully equipped

Very nice little cabin out in the countryside. I loved watching the hummingbirds from the porch. Check-in and checkout was super easy.

I like everything about the place. It was beautiful, clean, modern. The place had hot water and no electrical issue. It’s picturesque and accessible to the downtown La Fortuna.

Privacy, comfort and beautiful environment. Host was outstanding. Very responsive. We had heavy traffic traveling from San Jose to Toucan House. Did not arrive until after 11:00 pm. Host was still available for questions. I was very appreciative.

I really liked that the property feels very private. It has a nice outdoor seating area with beautiful lighting, which creates a really cozy atmosphere in the evenings. The house is smaller and has more of a cottage vibe — it’s not luxury, but you definitely get what you pay for, and it’s super comfortable, especially for small families. We traveled with two kids, including a newborn, and we absolutely loved it. The kitchen is very well equipped — you have everything you need, even a blender, plenty of glasses, cutlery, and all essentials. Everything was very clean. What I appreciated the most, though, were the people managing the property. It’s a family who lives just across the street, and they are incredibly kind and helpful. Anything we needed, they brought right away — even batteries — and they surprised us with banana bread for the kids. They were so warm and welcoming, and I honestly just wish we spoke better Spanish so we could talk to them more. They really deserve a lot of credit.
